We're Soccer Porch now

Yep, new name. King Juan Soccer is now Soccer Porch.

Why? Honestly, "King Juan Soccer" sounded like a club. Or a tournament. Or a guy named Juan who really, really likes soccer. Nobody looked at it and thought "oh, that's where soccer families hang out." We wanted a name that says community before you even click.

Why a porch? Because that's where the good stuff happens. Neighbors wander by, someone brings snacks, and you find out who's playing Saturday and which field has the giant puddle. That's the vibe we want here.

Okay, full confession: Soccer Porch was not plan A. Plan A was Soccer Hood. Someone beat us to it. We were sad for about ten minutes. Then we realized you can't put a chair in a hood, so the porch wins.

What changes for you? Basically nothing.

• We live at soccerporch.com now. Old kingjuansoccer.com links still work. They just walk you over to the new place.
• You're still signed in. Your teams, follows and RSVPs all came along.
• The app gets the new name and icon in its next update. No reinstalling.
• The chat assistant is now Ask Us. It's still happy to tell you who's top of the table.
• King Juan Cup keeps its name. Same tournament, same people. Soccer Porch is a King Juan Soccer product.
